Saturday, Sept 12th at the Sapphire Supper Club.. This one was fun & different. The band played over 25 consecutive songs. They saved "The Final Thing for last but filled the end of the set with a few cover songs. Some they haven't played in a very long time. Some they never played before. Wilson Pickett's "Mustang Sally", Bow Wow Wow's "I Want Candy", were just a couple. It was Gene's first ever show at Sapphire. He blew out his low B string towards the end of the night. We was surprised to see Mamie Thomas (Rob's mom) wearing it as a necklace at the next show. I guess she likes the band.
