Blue Meridian is scheduled last on a 4 band bill, but since the 3rd band takes too long to set-up and get started, they forfeit their turn. Blue Meridian gets more stage time. Over an hour in all.

Jake takes the stage for "Go Away". People applaud. Manny sings, "Take your attitude and Walk Away."
Jake Accidently kicks Donovans power supply for his distortion pedal muting his guitar. It's a small stage.
1:17 a.m.
The band ends their set with "Spreading Clever" and Zack the Cowboy Jewish Rapper takes the stage with the band to rap his little diddy. He reads it off a cocktail napkin and gets some of the words mixed-up.
1:30am Slim Jim Phantom, the drummer from The Stray Cats, owns the club and to demonstrate this,
paces purposefully in and out of the place for the entire evening. He stops long enough for a pose with Donovan.
"At 2:05 am Jake approaches Slim Jim about buying some "road rockets" for the afterparty (some to-go beers...refer to "Dream Breathe Scream" for more). He had us under his thumb, as it was past last call for alcohol. A frustrated Jake handed over $48.00 for a 12 pack of Bud Light (a February Born-on-Date too!). Jake was pissed all night." - Donovan
