Directly across from Sapphire on Orange Ave- Happy Hour performance. 5pm - 7:30pm. Benefit Concert. $10 donation at the door to benefit the Donny Hawkins family. Five year old Donny has been battling brain cancer for 2 years.

The band has booked this show in response to numerous email requests from visiting out-of-towners as well as a hoarde of students returning from their Fall semester of partying out of state (and maybe even studies). Details are still unfolding for this holiday show. 18 & up. Ambitions End opens the show. Discounted Red Stripe Bottles and Dag Daddy's all night.

The 2001 BEER FEST - Plaza Stage, Universal Studios Citywalk,

The 3rd annual BeerFest. Blue Meridian was the warm-up act for the "Monsters Of The Midday" the last 2 years. This time around
we're headlining our own night. Expect a 2 hour set beginning at 8pm. It's all ages. You do not need to be a part of the Beer Fest
to witness the show (although you will have to miss out on a good amount of free beer). Cider Plays just before us. Come early,
drink late. Enjoy the music. This show should be a teriffic opportunity to hear a good number of older Blue Meridian songs, as our
set will be lengthy.


House of Blues w/ THE CULT  Monday, November 26, 2001
On November 26h the House of Blues will sell out and Blue Meridian will turn it up as loud as possible. The following are all the details we have at this moment. The show is all ages. Tickets are approx. $22.50. Blue Meridian does a full 45 minute set beginning around 8:30pm.
The following night, the Cult return to their normal tour schedule (In Tampa) of opening for Aerosmith.

Well the 13th of October is shaping up to be a huge night for the band. In the last two years Blue Meridian has won three OMA's.
This year we are nominated for yet another. This time it's for "Best Pop Rock" band. The ceremony will take place at the Hard Rock
Live and immediatly after we're slated to do a one hour set of free music for everyone in the fanbase. Start times are as of yet
still undetermined, but we promise to keep you in the loop.

House of Blues, Downtown Disney Westside

BLUE MERIDIAN goes on at 9pm SHARP! the Amy Steinberg Band & Byron Haze will follow. This is one of HOB's famous "Orlando Rocks" nights. That means admission is absolutely free, provided you can get an advance ticket off a band member. For people who live out of the immediate area, simply send an email to Raggedstar@aol.com , list the amount of tickets you need (you may have as MANY as you will use!)  along with your snail mail address and we'll mail them to you free of charge. For those of you that live in Orlando, we hope you'll visit Park Ave CDS, East West CDs or CD Warehouse in Altamonte or on Hwy 50 to get your tickets.
Be sure to set this night aside! Do not miss this great concert!   .....Don't forget... 9pm Sharp @ House of Blues on Wednesday the 12th! They asked us to close out the night, but we want to get in front of you all-agers and 9-5ers... and for most people.... 11pm on a Wednesday in Lake Buena Egypt is pushing it!  So we're OPENING the night. Don't be late!!


Production of the CD ("Minerva") has been slightly delayed, but a date and studio have been selected. We can assure you that Monday Sept. 17th Blue Meridian WILL begin laying down tracks for the national debut. This Means no other shows for awhile!...


AUGUST 2001


Off-Shore Bar, St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands

First global performance (hey, it happened sooner than we thought). There's a cool bar down in the Virgin Islands That is flying a few select Florida acts down  to perform. We'll be doing 4 consecutive nights. If you're in the hemisphere, be sure to stop in and give a listen.

Kit Kat Klub 
Friday, August 17
$5 gets anyone over 18 in the door. Also on the bill are our good friends in "Cider". Look for a 3rd band to open the show around 10pm. Cider goes on around 11 and Blue Meridian around midnight. The Kit Kat is located in downtown Orlando, in the Wall Street Plaza, next to the Globe (formerly the Go Lounge). This will be Blue Meridian's only local performance this summer. Come check review the material for the new album
only days before we head into the studio to begin recording.

APRIL 2001


House of Blues, Lake Buena Vista

Blue Meridian play House of Blues for the first time since they opened for Veruca Salt in 2000. This time local newcomers "Ambitions End" (pictured) open for them. This is an all original quintet of ambitious high schoolers hailing from Lake Brantley & Bishop Moore. They have been compared to "Third Eye Blind". Also on the bill are fellow "Real Radio Airplay Veterans" Dennison Marrs. These guys are from nearby Lakeland and are not to be missed.
This is a rare early show for all you 9 to 5ers. Doors open at 7pm, Ambitions End plays at 8pm, Dennison Marrs at 8:45pm and Blue Meridian finishes the show with a headlining set before 10pm!. The show is ALL AGES. Tickets are $7 and are available through www.ticketmaster.com . We look forward to seeing you there!
