THE BEER
Helly Bock is a light
"bock" beer. In German, "Helle" means "light".
Now you may know where the idea for the name came about. "Helly" is a well
known and classic Blue Meridian song. One of the highlights on the bands award
winning "Brave Angel" album and a crowd favorite at concerts.

Meridian is a very unique, original, yet commercially appealing modern
rock band founded in Central Florida with strong aspirations of taking
their music to the world. Blue Meridian Helly Bock is a very unique, original, yet commercially appealing modern bock beer founded in Central Florida with aspirations of taking it's great taste to the world. Bock beers are generally very malty and high in alcohol content. Helly Bock contains over 6% alcohol by volume. By brewers and beer aficionados, this is considered a "big beer". With Helly Bock we aimed at creating a very unique and tasty beer that would appeal to the discriminating micro brew fan as well as the average consumer of mass produced brands. Helly Bock features the best of both worlds. It doesn't have the common "hoppy" aftertaste of the typical micro brew and doesn't have the watered down flavor of a typical American lager. Imagine a quality amber colored European lager, not unlike "Harp", but with the lower calories and drink- ability of many domestic beers. Add a power packed punch of alcohol with a very flavorful impact and nearly no aftertaste and you've come close to understanding what Helly Bock represents. Or better yet, ask for a pint very soon at your favorite watering hole. If they don't carry it... request it. Helly Bock will be available for distribution at all Florida bars and other establishments that serve beer by late July 2003. For more info on how you can sample the beer, email HellyBock@aol.com |
